Thank you, Dave. I did close my browser down from the task managing director. Just wondering how these things get through my Windows defender. I did a scan of my computer and null was out of the ordinary. Any suggestions going forward for protection? I did upgrade to Windows 11 and I accept never had a problem before now.

It happened a few minutes ago again but with a chip of a different message and expect. I did download MalwareBytes afterward the starting time fourth dimension. This happened both times when I tried to open Facebook.

Lamentable, I was offline, when you try to admission Facebook, look at the Address bar in your browser, do you see the address change to something other than Facebook?
How are you accessing Facebook, is that through a shortcut or bookmark, if then, bank check that information technology contains the correct spider web address.

I received the exact message a few minutes ago. I knew it was a scam because I have heard other people that have received same bulletin. You said shut browser down through task manager. I did close it down, but simply by "10" it out top right corner. Should I go back and do something different? How would I shut down in chore manager? I have windows eleven. I as well ran defender and it found nada.

Closing it through the X push button and Task Director are relatively the same. So no, you don't need to do anything else.
