The Fragile - Album minutiae:

- The CD version consists of 23 tracks as listed in the master release branch.
- The LP version includes two additional tracks: "ten Miles High" and "The New Flesh". The last song, "Ripe", lacks the second department chosen "(With Decay)" present on CD. Additionally, the songs are unedited, resulting in some songs running longer than on CD. Any songs that segue on the CD tracklist just are split across LP sides have those segues removed.
- The Cassette version places a secondary section called "(+Appendage)" after the vocal "Please". This was exclusive to this format, until the release of "The Frail Deviations i", in 2016.
- The Fragile Deviations 1 is related to this release as being a total instrumental take on leftover studio material and alternate versions, expanded to 37 tracks in totality.

Merely received this today - and five of 6 sides sound fantastic. Unfortunately, the B side of the offset disc has a persistent surface dissonance, or more than accurately, static well-nigh one time a revolution. It's present afterward multiple cleans on the record cleaning motorcar. There is no visible surface flaws, but the LP is adequately warped (probably from the compress packaging). The surface noise is persistent in the tranquillity passages on all the songs, with an added couple ticks at the stop of Even Deeper. Information technology does seem to correlate with the warp in the record, then I'm hoping that equally it flattens out on my shelf that the dissonance goes downwardly. Unfortunately, this LP is so hard to become ahold of, and return shipping isn't cheap so I'll probably keep, just a flake of a letdown on the ane side.

Probably a victim of tight shrink wrap and bulky packaging. Would have been better if it was spread out over three separate sleeves.

What is everyone using for a polybag sleeve for this one? It'due south spine is over ane/2 inch thick. It won't fit in normal polybags. Any suggestions are much appreciated

Big call, but probably the greatest double album as a whole start to terminate. Pressing is amazing!!

This is simply a spiritual feel. This vinyl release proves I was so right becoming a fan o this band. Trent'south perfection radiates over this pressing completely. After twenty years of listening to the CD release, I am able to rediscover it on fifty-fifty deeper level. Flawless production and genius compositions.

I'grand a picayune disappointed with my buy. Side A & D are quite noisy. I've given them a few cleans, might need a deeper clean though. Fantastic album though, sounds great (when not noisy) and the packaging is crawly as well.

UPDATE : Not sure what was going on for the start few listens only upon revisiting information technology today, the racket doesn't seem equally prevalent on those sides.

This is then freaking spectacular. Super clean spin with picayune noise. I am so glad I bought this…A masterpiece.

Agree with the others. This is a perfect sounding record. 1 of the all-time I own. Perfection.
